  • Food is good and interesting, atmosphere and service are unmatched. The insistence on sharing is a little annoying. They kind of force course things out in a way that doesn't always seem logical. They don't give you a say in it, the flow of the meal was a little strange. But over all great experience.

  • A new find for me in Paso! In bloom is a beautifully appointed, Michelin Guided restaurant on the north end of Paso Market Walk. We arrived around 5:45 and the place was wide open for seating, but by 7pm, the restaurant was hopping! The staff was very kind and helpful and did a great job on service. We had 5 different dishes and all of them had unique flavors with beautiful presentation. Each plate was a taste plate, so make sure to get several plates to share! We really enjoyed the food, the service and the decor, but I will say that it gets extremely noisy when it a full capacity and it makes it very hard to have any kind of meaningful conversation. I hope that the next time we visit, we will pick a quieter seat.

  • We went here with our friends to celebrate a birthday. All the staff were great and even hand-wrote a birthday card. The food is simply amazing! The wedge salad was transcendent. Eating family style meant we all got to taste everything. Even simple things like bread starter were elevated by this crazy good carrot butter.

  • I love this family style restaurant. This Sunday is themed Sunday- Funday between noon and 3pm. On this occassion authentic vietnamese style Pho was offered. Having been trained in a vietnamese restaurant Chef John prepared an excellent, authentic Pho soup. Delicious flavors and a wonderful fragrance really made this dish something special. We were also served a Vietnamese omlette. Light, flavorful and delicious. A wonderful lunch at a great price. I encourage everyone to make a point to stop by and have a great, family-stye fun meal. You'll be surprised with whatever Chef John presents next time but that's the fun of it all.

  • Exceptional food, drinks and service. We had a lot of requests including last minute changes and seating requests. They were patient and kind in helping us with our requests. We also had a sub 2 year old baby, and they were very kid friendly for a high end restaurant. The cocktails were incredible. Food was unique and tasty. And service was top notch. Paso Robles really does play out of it boots when it comes to restaurants.

  • I love going where the locals go when I visit a new place and if the locals (many of whom work in or support Paso Robles’ amazing wineries) choose this spot, you know it’s good. We came here for a weekend girls’ trip and it ended up being the best meal of our stay. I’ve tried Michelin-starred places hoping for amazing flavors (not for bragging rights, but because I genuinely love memorable food) and a few of the dishes here actually delivered that better. All six of us were delighted by dishes that sound simple on paper, like the snap peas or the tempura eggplant, but were so perfectly done that we kept passing plates around the table just to make sure no one missed out. The cocktails were equally thoughtful. A couple of the gals ordered “The Rover”, which arrived topped with a sugar bubble that was incredibly fun to watch everyone pop in their own special way lol. The service was attentive and genuinely friendly, and the whole vibe blends California casual with city sleek in the best way. And yes… I have zero photos because we were too busy being present and enjoying the food. A true sign of a great meal.

  • In Bloom in Paso Robles delivered an experience that was both unexpected and exceptional. We visited during their Sunday “Fun Day,” a word-of-mouth offering on a day they are typically closed, where the restaurant focuses exclusively on a single dish: Pho Ramen. This thoughtful, pared-down approach immediately set the tone for something special. The dish itself was memorable. A deeply flavored pho-style broth formed the foundation, paired with ramen noodles and complemented by fresh bok choy and crisp sprouts. The balance was precise, comforting, and intentional, highlighting both technique and restraint rather than excess. We chose to sit at the bar and were served promptly, with an attentiveness that felt genuine rather than rehearsed. The space was lively and energetic, filled with a sense of purpose and enjoyment from both staff and guests. There was a palpable buzz in the room—an atmosphere that felt communal, welcoming, and distinctly confident in its identity. This experience stood apart from anything else currently offered in Paso Robles. It was not only about the food, but about the concept, the execution, and the willingness to do something different. In Bloom has created something truly unique, and this Sunday experience is absolutely worth seeking out.
